Guided by our slogan, "You Are Not Alone," we stand as a beacon of hope and solidarity, bringing together people who understand the unique challenges of living with autoimmune conditions.

Our Mission

At Mahogany Pattern's Purple Life Charity, our mission is to empower those affected by autoimmune diseases through essential education, resources, and heartfelt support. Autoimmune conditions are complex and often misunderstood, leaving many without the information, care, or community they deserve. Through our Helping Hands Program, we provide care packages tailored to daily needs, host educational seminars, offer yoga and wellness sessions, and engage our community with resources for sustainable health practices.

Why We Care

Our founder, a Lupus survivor with personal experience battling Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), knows firsthand the struggles autoimmune conditions bring. After losing part of her lung and enduring countless days in the hospital, she turned her challenges into a life mission of hope and support for others. With the compassion passed down from her grandfathers—a devoted pastor and a community-focused businessman—our founder has dedicated her life to creating a space where every individual, regardless of background, can find the help they need without judgment.

What We Offer

  1. Education and Resources: Our programs provide crucial knowledge on managing autoimmune conditions. From live Q&A sessions to workshops and expert-led webinars, we ensure our community has access to information that empowers them.

  2. Helping Hands Care Packages: We know how essential it is to have the right support. That’s why our care packages contain everything from medical supplies to personal items, tailored to meet the needs of those struggling with autoimmune issues.

  3. Health and Wellness Programs: Health is more than physical; it’s about mental well-being too. We offer regular yoga classes, daily 20-minute meditation sessions, and autoimmune-friendly cooking classes that focus on holistic health and community building.

  4. Community Initiatives: With monthly Tea & Talk sessions, where we invite women to share stories in a nurturing environment, and our creative Tea & Paint events, we foster a space for connection, healing, and self-expression. Our Awareness & Support section further amplifies this, with resources, engaging events, and an online community forum.

  5. Online Resources and Support Hub: Our Autoimmune Information Hub offers extensive resources, from diet plans and exercise guides to symptom management tools. We connect our members with TED talks, webinars, and downloadable guides that support their journey.

Adding a light-hearted touch to our mission, Bliss the Butterfly and her companion, Glow the Firefly, embody the spirit of support, resilience, and empowerment that we strive to provide. Hope, with her wink and comforting presence, reminds our community that they are never alone, while Glow inspires us all to "Shine On," bringing joy and strength to those who need it most.

How We’re Funded

Mahogany Pattern's Purple Life Charity Inc. is funded through community support, fundraising events, and our Wellness Warrior memberships. Our members help sustain our programs, like our Helping Hands care packages, through affordable memberships that offer access to a supportive network and wellness resources.

Through the #YouAreNotAlone social media campaign, we’re encouraging individuals affected by autoimmune diseases to share their personal stories. By sharing your journey, you can inspire others, spread awareness, and raise funds for Mahogany Patterns Purple Life Charity INC., to continue supporting individuals and families battling autoimmune conditions.

Together, we can raise awareness, build a sense of community, and meet our fundraising goal to provide critical resources like care packages, educational seminars, and support groups for those in need.

How It Works:

  1. Share Your Story:
    Encourage individuals affected by autoimmune diseases to share their personal stories on social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Twitter). They can share about their diagnosis, daily struggles, coping mechanisms, or victories and how they stay strong in the face of adversity.
